A list is your newsletter audience. Each list has its own subdomain, subscribers, and posts.
What you need
- A name for your newsletter
- A subdomain (e.g. newsletter.tinysend.com)
- Optional: a description and logo
Creating a list
Go to your dashboard and click “Create New List”. You’ll be asked for:
- Name — what your newsletter is called
- Subdomain — where your archive will live (name.tinysend.com)
- Description — short intro about your newsletter
- Image — optional logo or header image
Once created, tinysend sets up everything automatically.
What happens next
After creation, tinysend automatically:
- creates your newsletter archive at subdomain.tinysend.com
- provisions a dedicated email server with DKIM signing for your list
- configures email routing so you can send to yourlist@tinysend.com
- starts the warm-up process to build sender reputation
- creates subscribe and unsubscribe pages
Your list dashboard
The list dashboard shows:
- Subscriber counts (active, pending, unsubscribed)
- Warm-up progress and daily limits
- Recent posts
- Tabs for posts, subscribers, and settings
Adding subscribers
You can add subscribers in three ways:
- Share your subscribe page (subdomain.tinysend.com/subscribe)
- Add them manually in the subscribers tab
- Import a CSV file
New subscribers get a confirmation email to activate their subscription. This double opt-in helps keep your list clean and prevents spam complaints.
Next steps
- Customize your list in the site and settings tabs
- Write your first post
- Start building your subscriber list
